Staff

Leah Torrey, Lead Organizer/Staff Director

Leah joined UVIP in June, 2011. She began organizing in Wayland, Massachusetts with the Wayland Interfaith Clergy Association as an intern while at Harvard Divinity School. She was Lead Organizer in Kern County, California with Faith In Action an organizing project within the PICO network. She has experience working on issues ranging from local parks and code compliance to healthcare and education. Leah has a Master’s in Divinity from Harvard Divinity School where she studied modern American religious movements.
